Are You Missing Out On Magnesium?

I was introduced to magnesium oil from my mom and sister. My sister suffers from insomnia and was going to try some out. I read the bottle and found that it also helped with muscle spasms and at the time I was suffering back pain from a fall.

So that night I rubbed some on my back and went to sleep. When I awoke my back pain was almost gone. I almost couldn’t believe the relief I felt because I was in pain for so long. Then I rubbed some on the bottom of my feet before bed and it felt like I’d taken Benadryl!

I was lulled to sleep and woke feeling rested and amazing. And since my one year old still co-sleeps, that’s saying something. So I looked up magnesium and why it was so powerful and found out that actually every cell in your body needs magnesium to function. It’s vital to your health.

Magnesium is required for energy production, and contributes to the structural development of bone and is required for the synthesis of DNA, RNA, and the antioxidant glutathione. Magnesium also plays a role in the active transport of calcium and potassium ions across cell membranes, a process that is important to nerve impulse conduction, muscle contraction, and normal heart rhythm.”

Basically magnesium is a help to every function, system and cell in your body. And it is easily found in a variety of foods such as almonds, spinach, legumes, avocado, brown rice and bananas. High quality magnesium supplements are also available and a great way to add more magnesium to your diet.
